Racetronix distributes many automotive items that once removed from their protective packaging are easily damaged due to mishandling or environmental exposure. Items such as fuel pumps and injectors are at the top of this list. Repacking these items for resale places secondary customers at risk. In most cases the cost to administer a RGA, ship, re-certify and re-pack these items exceeds their value and still poses a risk to secondary customers as not all issues may surface during short-term testing. For these reasons Racetronix will not accept any returns on open-box fuel pumps, fuel pump kits, fuel pump assemblies, injectors, their related / bundled components or any item which may be compromised once removed from its packaging. It is imperative that customers know what they require before making their purchase. If you are not sure what you require e-mail our sales department or contact a Racetronix dealer.
In an effort to continue to offer our valued customers the high-quality and value Racetronix products have become famous for we must maintain an industry standard return policy which is fair to our customers but at the same time discourages impulsive uneducated purchasing practices which would drive up our prices.
All returns are subject to inspection. Any part that, in our opinion, shows evidence of being used or installed contrary to manufacturer’s instructions and / or subjected to improper handling, packaging, or shipping by the customer will not be eligible for exchange, refund, or warranty consideration. We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee or refuse any exception.
Racetronix will not accept any product that appears to have been used unless there is a valid warranty issue as defined by the manufacturer / vendor. An inspection process may take place to verify the product meets the warranty criteria. Products used in racing or off road conditions are only warranted against manufacturer defects prior to installation.
Inspections of returned merchandise to Racetronix are usually completed within seven business days of receipt of the return. Additional time may be needed if the merchandise must be returned to the manufacturer / vendor for further testing.
Racetronix cannot accept returns of custom ordered parts. Videos, software and copyrighted material cannot be returned for refund once they are open. We reserve the right to refuse any exceptions.
Some items may qualify for return if they are in new / unused condition with all paperwork, tags and packaging intact within 30 days of purchase. All returns must be approved by Racetronix in advance. A RGA / CO number and return shipping documents will be provided by Racetronix once the return has been authorized. Racetronix will refuse all returned packages which do not arrive with a valid RGA / CO number.
If an order is being returned for exchange a full credit for the value of the goods will be issued and applied to the cost of the replacement. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs to and from Racetronix. The customer is responsible for any damage that occurs as a result of improper packaging of the returned goods. Missing / damaged parts may lead to repair/replacement charges or disqualify the return
If a product is being returned for refund a minimum 20% restocking fee (minimum $25.00 fee) will be deducted along with shipping costs (to and from Racetronix). This is to cover administrative, evaluation and repacking costs.

If a shipment arrives and appears to have taken damage please document this with the courier before accepting / signing for the package. Take pictures with your camera / phone and forward the details to Racetronix immediately. Shipment damage must be properly documented and reported without delay to avoid claim issues.
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives for damage, missing or incorrect parts as soon as possible.
All order-related issues must be reported to Racetronix within 5 business days of the courier’s documented delivery. We will not be responsible for damage, shortages or loss that are not reported within this time frame.
Racetronix goes to great lengths to provide detailed descriptions of the items in our web store. Many items are highly technical, application-specific and purpose-specific. There should be no doubt as to what the customer is to expect when the goods arrive. If you are in doubt ask us first before making a purchase. Claims of ‘item not as described’ that are used as a means to circumvent our return policy will be vigorously contested. Abuse of our return policy negatively impacts all our customers and will not be tolerated.
