Dual In-Tank Pump System F99 1050LPH
Dual In-Tank Pump System F99, 1,050 LPH
Racetronix QFPS-F99-1050 incorporates it's patented pump interlock technology which allows for multiple pumps to be installed in a factory tank without modification required. This 'building a ship in a bottle' approach allows for installation of up to four pumps thereby supporting outlandish flow capabilities and horsepower levels. All this performance is packed into a simplistic design which can be installed and managed with moderate technical skills. Every part of the in-tank pump module has been engineered to be as ergonomic as possible using the highest quality components. Billet anodized 6061-T6 aluminum and 304 stainless steel are used throughout the assembly. Superior Viton (FKM) GF-600S seals are incorporated for extra durability over standard Viton (FKM) when used with Ethanol and oxygenated race fuels.
The entire wiring system is 100% plug & play with the factory harness and interfacing to optional aftermarket engine management systems may be done easily. The fuel pump's in-tank Teflon wiring is upgraded to improve pump performance. A 6-position electrical bulkhead connector provides dedicated power to each of the four pumps. High-current electrical connectors which fuel-safe fluorosilicone seals are used to enhance contact reliability. There is dedicated 10-gauge wiring for each of the two pump circuits. Each circuit utilizes a dedicated 630-series 40-amp rated relay and fuse holder. Each circuit can be controlled independently for staged operation. Two ground control jumpers control primary and staged boost-controlled pump activation via pressure switches or pull to ground outputs from a PCM.
This system may be upgraded to three or four pumps with additional pumps, hardware and wiring components if more horsepower support is required in the future.
For applications involving forced induction, the QFPS-F99-1050 configuration is engineered to provide substantial fueling overhead. When utilizing standard gasoline, this dual-pump system is projected to support upwards of 1,250 RWHP. For users running E85/Ethanol blends, which require approximately 30% more fuel volume, the system is projected to support upwards of 1,000 HP. These figures assume the use of properly sized fuel lines and high-flow components as outlined in the requirements section below.
