Connects a 3/8" NPT male part to -3 AN plumbing.
The Racetronix ADF-03J38FPT has a -3 AN JIC male (37° flare) on one end and a 3/8" NPT female port on the other. Thread a 3/8" NPT male part, such as a sensor, gauge, plug, valve or pipe nipple, into the port, and connect a -3 AN female hose end or swivel to the JIC end.

The NPT port is a tapered pipe thread and seals on its threads: put a fuel-safe thread sealant (PTFE paste) on the male part you thread into it, keeping it off the first thread. The AN end seals metal to metal on its 37° flare, not on the threads. Do not put Teflon tape or thread sealant on it.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need thread sealant?
Yes, on the NPT male part that goes into the port. Never on the 37° flare end.
Will a BSP part fit the port?
No. NPT and BSP threads differ in angle and, in some sizes, pitch. Use an NPT male part.
Is it E85 compatible?
Yes. It is made from 6061-T6 aluminum and black anodized, and works with gasoline and E85.
