Connects -4 AN plumbing to a 1/4" SAE inverted flare port or fitting.
The Racetronix ADF-4J71624IF has a -4 AN JIC male (37° flare) on one end and a 7/16"-24 SAE 45° inverted flare male on the other, the thread used on 1/4" steel hard line. Thread the inverted flare end into a factory port such as a fuel filter, carburetor, regulator or brake/fuel junction that takes a 1/4" inverted flare tube nut, and connect -4 AN hose to the JIC end.

Both ends seal metal to metal on their flares: 37° on the AN end and 45° on the inverted flare end. Do not use Teflon tape or thread sealant on either end.

Frequently asked questions
Will it work with a bubble flare port?
No. SAE inverted flare uses a 45° double flare. ISO bubble flare ports, common on European cars, have a different seat and will not seal with this fitting.
Is the AN flare the same as the inverted flare?
No. AN/JIC uses a 37° flare and inverted flare uses 45°. The two do not seal against each other, which is why this adapter is needed.
Is it E85 compatible?
Yes. It is made from 6061-T6 aluminum and black anodized, and works with gasoline and E85.
