Connects a 1/8"-27 NPS transmission cooler port to -6 AN.
The Racetronix ADF-481671 has a -6 AN JIC male (37° flare) on one end and a 1/8"-27 NPS straight male thread on the other, for transmission cooler line ports and similar straight-thread ports.

NPS (National Pipe Straight) and UNF are straight threads: they do not seal on the threads like tapered NPT. The port seal is a crush washer, bonded washer or O-ring to suit the port. Both AN ends seal metal to metal on their 37° flares; do not use tape or sealant on them.

Frequently asked questions
Is NPS the same as NPT?
No. NPS is a straight thread of the same pitch; it seals on a washer or O-ring, not on the threads. An NPT fitting may thread in but will not seal properly.
Is it E85 compatible?
Yes. It is made from 6061-T6 aluminum and black anodized, and works with gasoline and E85.
