The Bosch 0 280 158 227 is a high-performance EV 14 injector featuring the "Long" (L) body geometry (60.65mm). Widely used in modern performance applications, including Ford Coyote 5.0L platforms, this unit utilizes a Type E (Dual Cone) spray pattern with a 20-degree Split Angle (Alpha) for superior fuel atomization in 4-valve cylinder heads.
Configuration Note: This unit is verified to have Blue (Upper) and Brown (Lower) O-rings.

Technical Note: Flow Rating & Fluids
Bosch calibrates injectors using N-Heptane as a standard test fluid. However, most engines run on Gasoline, which has a higher density. We provide both ratings for transparency:
Volume (cc/min) = Mass Flow (g/min) ÷ Fluid Density (g/cc)- N-Heptane (0.684 g/cc): 261 ÷ 0.684 = 381.6 cc/min (Industry Standard Rating)
- Gasoline (~0.720 g/cc): 261 ÷ 0.720 = 362.5 cc/min (Real World Estimate)
- Factory new Genuine Bosch High-Performance Fuel Injector.
- Factory installed o-rings top and bottom.
