Bosch calibrates injectors using N-Heptane as a standard test fluid. However, most engines run on Gasoline, which has a higher density. We provide both ratings for transparency:

Volume (cc/min) = Mass Flow (g/min) ÷ Fluid Density (g/cc)
  • N-Heptane (0.684 g/cc): 339 ÷ 0.684 = 495.6 cc/min (Industry Standard Rating)
  • Gasoline (~0.720 g/cc): 339 ÷ 0.720 = 470.8 cc/min (Real World Estimate)
  • Factory new Genuine Bosch High-Performance Fuel Injector.
