The Bosch 0 280 158 291 is a high-performance EV 14 injector featuring the "Compact" (K) body geometry. This injector features a wide 60° Conical Spray Pattern, ideal for applications requiring broad fuel atomization and mixing.

  • Flow Capacity: Rated at 66 lb/hr / 695 cc/min (500 g/min) at 300 kPa (43.5 PSI).
  • Volumetric Flow: ~731 cc/min (N-Heptane) / ~695 cc/min (Gasoline). *See Tech Note
  • Fuel & Seal Compatibility: Features high-quality Viton O-rings (Blue Upper / Brown Lower) and stainless internals. Fully compatible with E85, Methanol, and Gasoline.
  • Electrical Connection: Features a standard USCAR / EV6 connector housing.

The 0280158291 uses the EV 14 K (Compact) body geometry. It is the shortest standard EV14 length (33.6mm O-ring to O-ring).

Technical Note: Flow Rating & Fluids

Bosch calibrates injectors using N-Heptane as a standard test fluid. However, most engines run on Gasoline, which has a higher density. We provide both ratings for transparency:

Volume (cc/min) = Mass Flow (g/min) ÷ Fluid Density (g/cc)
  • N-Heptane (0.684 g/cc): 500 ÷ 0.684 = 730.9 cc/min (Industry Standard Rating)
  • Gasoline (~0.720 g/cc): 500 ÷ 0.720 = 694.4 cc/min (Real World Estimate)
  • Factory new Genuine Bosch High-Performance Fuel Injector.
  • Factory installed o-rings top and bottom.
  • Shipped in factory-sealed Bosch boxes or in bulk bagged format as provided by Bosch.
  • Flow Matching: Injectors sold individually ("each") are not flow-matched by Racetronix. Flow matching is only available on specific pre-packaged sets (packs) when and if available. Purchasing multiple individual units does not guarantee a matched set.
  • Absolutely no returns on open-box fuel injectors. Know your application before making your purchase.
