Product Overview

The Bosch 0 280 158 209 is a high-flow Bosch Motorsport injector. It combines an ~870cc valve with the "Compact Extended Tip" (KT) body geometry. This unit is a popular choice for high-horsepower builds requiring a compact injector body where an extended nozzle is needed to reach the airstream for optimal fuel atomization.

Verified Configuration Note: This unit is verified to have Black (Upper) and Brown (Lower) O-rings.
  • Flow Capacity: Rated at 79 lb/hr / 834 cc/min (600 g/min) at 300 kPa (43.5 PSI).

Dimensions & Fitment

The 0280158209 uses the EV 14 KT (Compact Extended Tip) body geometry. It features a standard compact body length (33.6mm) but with an elongated nozzle tip for deeper port reach.

Technical Note: Flow Rating & Fluids

Bosch calibrates injectors using N-Heptane as a standard test fluid. However, most engines run on Gasoline, which has a higher density. We provide both ratings for transparency:

Volume (cc/min) = Mass Flow (g/min) ÷ Fluid Density (g/cc)
  • N-Heptane (0.684 g/cc): 600 ÷ 0.684 = 877.2 cc/min (Industry Standard Rating)
  • Gasoline (~0.720 g/cc): 600 ÷ 0.720 = 833.3 cc/min (Real World Estimate)
  • Factory new Genuine Bosch High-Performance Fuel Injector.
  • Factory installed o-rings top and bottom.
  • Shipped in factory-sealed Bosch boxes or in bulk bagged format as provided by Bosch.
  • Flow Matching: Injectors sold individually ("each") are not flow-matched by Racetronix.
  • Absolutely no returns on open-box fuel injectors. Know your application before making your purchase.
