Adds a sealed port to a tank or module wall that is not perfectly flat.
The Racetronix BHPRA-6R is a complete four-piece bulkhead assembly that puts a sealed 5/16" quick-connect port through a wall that is not perfectly flat, such as molded plastic or uneven metal. It is used on Racetronix TU475-525R modules and on many other tanks and housings, for example to add a return port.
The 90-degree bulkhead body has a -6 ORB female port on the outside and a 9/16"-18 UNF male thread that passes through the wall. O-ring grooves under the body flange and in the jam nut let the O-rings seal against surfaces where crush or bonded washers leak. A QDA-56M6 adapter (-6 JIC male with O-ring to 5/16" male quick connect) fits the outside port, and a second adapter threads onto the 9/16"-18 UNF end inside to give another 5/16" male quick connect.

BHPRA-6R is sold only as the complete four-piece assembly with its O-rings. The outside adapter is also available on its own as QDA-56M6. Do not use tape or sealant; the O-rings do the sealing.

Frequently asked questions
Why O-ring grooves instead of washers?
Molded plastic and some metal housings are not perfectly flat. An O-ring in a groove is more forgiving than a crush or bonded washer and seals against small imperfections.
Can I buy the pieces separately?
The assembly is sold complete. The outside adapter, QDA-56M6, is also sold on its own.
Is it E85 compatible?
Yes. It is made from 6061-T6 aluminum and black anodized, and works with gasoline and E85.
