UDPH-006 - Universal Double Pump Harness Heavy-Duty Version 6
FEATURES:
- Dual independent color-coded circuits
- Dual weatherproof ATC 630-series fuse holders
- Dual weatherproof ISO-630 40 amp sealed relays
- Dual independent ground control loop connectors for primary/secondary pump control via a HPS pressure switch, PCM etc.
- Intermediate dual pump harness interface connector
- 10 Gauge TXL automotive wire on power circuits
This harness has several upgrades over its predecessor (UDPH-005):
- 40 vs. 30 amp relays
- ATC vs. ATM fuse holders
- APEX vs. Metri-Pack output connector
Racetronix Plug & Play dual pump harness systems are comprised of the following components:
- UDPH (Universal Dual Pump Harness) - Supplies power through fuse holders and relays to a multi-position interface connector. Provides relay ground control loops/interface for primary/secondary pump control via jumper, pressure switch or PCM.
- IDPH (Intermediate dual pump harness) - Interfaces the UDPH, OEM factory chassis fuel pump harness and fuel hanger bulkhead connector for pump power, OEM + power trigger and level signal pass-through. Compatible IDPH harnesses are listed under add-ons below.
- DP-ITWH (Dual Pump In-Tank Wiring Harness) - Supplies power from the bulkhead connector to the pumps using fuel-safe PTFE/FEP wire. Passes level sensor signal to the bulkhead connector. Compatible DP-ITWH harnesses are listed under add-ons below.
All three of the harnesses listed above are required to complete a fully Plug & Play vehicle-specific wiring system. In cases where a vehicle-specific PnP intermediate harness is not available, a universal breakout version is available.
Optional harnesses:
- HIH (Hobbs Interface Harness) - Pressure switch interface harness for secondary pump control using a HPS pressure switch. This harness plugs into the UDPH ground control connectors to provide secondary pump control via relay ground.
- BGK (Body ground upgrade kit) - Used to upgrade the battery to body ground on many 1980-1990's GM vehicles with battery side post terminals.
Racetronix does not recommend running two pumps all the time. This puts a substantial amount of heat into the fuel system and substantial power from the electrical system. Secondary pump activation failure is not a concern when our wiring components are properly installed.
