Connects a -20 AN male (JIC) hose end or fitting to a -16 AN ORB female port.
The Racetronix ADF-20JF16R connects a -20 AN male (37° JIC) hose end or fitting into a -16 AN ORB (O-ring boss, 1-5/16"-12 thread) female port. The JIC end seals on its 37° flare and the ORB end seals on an O-ring, so neither end needs tape or sealant.

The ORB end seals on its O-ring against the port, and the JIC end seals metal to metal on its 37° flare. Do not use Teflon tape or thread sealant on either end, and do not use this adapter in an NPT (tapered pipe thread) port. O-rings are included with all Racetronix ORB adapters and fittings.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need thread sealant or tape?
No. The ORB end seals on its O-ring and the JIC end seals on its 37° flare. Sealant or tape on either end can cause a leak, and pieces of tape can get into the fuel system.
Can I use it in an NPT port?
No. ORB is a straight thread that seals on an O-ring; NPT is a tapered pipe thread. They are not interchangeable.
Which size do I need?
Match the AN JIC size to your hose end and the AN ORB size to the port. The lookup chart lists every adapter in this series; sort it by either column to find yours.
