Connects a -6 AN male (JIC) hose end or fitting to a 1/8" NPT female port.
The Racetronix ADF-499362 is a straight adapter with a -6 AN JIC female (37° flare) end and a 1/8" NPT male pipe thread. Thread the NPT end into the port, then connect a -6 AN male hose end or fitting to the JIC end.

NPT is a tapered pipe thread and seals on the threads, so use a fuel-resistant thread sealant on the NPT end. The JIC end seals metal to metal on its 37° flare: do not put sealant or tape on the flare or its threads.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need thread sealant?
On the NPT end, yes: it is a tapered pipe thread that seals on the threads, so use a fuel-resistant sealant. On the JIC end, no: it seals on the 37° flare, and sealant there can cause a leak.
Is it E85 compatible?
Yes. It is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and black anodized, and works with gasoline and E85.
Which size do I need?
Match the AN size to your hose end and the NPT size to the port. The lookup chart lists every combination in this series with its dimensions; sort it by either column to find yours.
