Converts an M14x1.5 metric port to a -6 AN JIC male.
The Racetronix ADF-6J1415MM has a -6 AN JIC male (37° flare) on one end and an M14x1.5 metric male thread on the other. Screw the metric end into an M14x1.5 port, such as a fuel pump, rail, regulator, sensor or banjo-bolt port on a European or Asian vehicle, and connect a -6 AN female hose end or swivel to the JIC end. It comes with an aluminum crush washer for the metric end.
This is a Racetronix assembly made in-house from the ADF-6J1415M; the extra M in the part number stands for machined. We machine the hex nut down on a lathe so the metric end can thread deeper into the port when a bonded washer is used together with the crush washer. It was made for the M14x1.5 return port on the bottom of some Buick fuel pressure regulators (normally a Saginaw fitting), sealed on the outside with a bonded washer. Today most builds use our dedicated regulator and fuel rail fittings instead.

The AN end seals metal to metal on its 37° flare, not on the threads. Do not put Teflon tape or thread sealant on it. The metric end seals on the included aluminum crush washer against the port face, not on the threads. Do not reuse a crush washer that is scored or heavily compressed; fit a new one.

Frequently asked questions
How do I check the metric size?
Measure the outside diameter of the port's male bolt or the port's inside thread (14 mm) and the pitch, the distance between threads (1.5 mm). A thread pitch gauge is the easiest way to tell 1.0, 1.25 and 1.5 mm apart.
Can I reuse the crush washer?
Not if it is scored or heavily compressed. A crush washer seals by deforming, so a used one may not seal again. Fit a new one when you refit the adapter.
Do I need thread sealant or tape?
No. The crush washer seals the metric end and the 37° flare seals the AN end. Tape or sealant can stop the washer from seating, and pieces of tape can get into the fuel system.
Is it E85 compatible?
Yes. It is made from 6061-T6 aluminum and black anodized, and works with gasoline and E85.
