Converts an M22x1.5 oil cooler or sandwich-plate port to -6 AN.
The Racetronix ADF-6J90M2215 has an M22x1.5 metric O-ring boss (ORB) male on one end and a -6 AN JIC male (37° flare) on the other, with a 90-degree turn between them. M22x1.5 is a common thread on oil coolers, oil filter sandwich plates and remote filter mounts. Screw the metric end into the port and connect a -6 AN female hose end or swivel to the JIC end.

The AN end seals metal to metal on its 37° flare, not on the threads. Do not put Teflon tape or thread sealant on it. The M22x1.5 end is a metric O-ring boss: its O-ring seals against the port face, not on the threads.

Frequently asked questions
What is M22x1.5 used on?
It is a common port thread on oil coolers, oil filter sandwich plates and remote filter mounts. Measure the thread (22 mm diameter, 1.5 mm pitch) before ordering.
Do I need thread sealant or tape?
No. The O-ring on the metric end and the 37° flare on the AN end do the sealing. Tape can stop them from seating, and pieces of tape can get into the oil system.
Is it E85 compatible?
Yes. It is made from 6061-T6 aluminum and black anodized, and works with gasoline and E85.
