The Racetronix FPWH-052HD is the core electrical upgrade for the 1997-2003 C5 Corvette fuel system. This heavy-duty harness is designed to fundamentally re-engineer power and ground delivery to your fuel pump module, bypassing the resistance bottlenecks inherent in the factory system.
By repurposing factory ground circuits into a dual-positive feed, we effectively double the current-carrying capacity through the bulkhead. This system is designed specifically for the high-quality stainless steel factory Delphi module.

This allows us to feed two bulkhead terminals in parallel, maximizing current-handling capacity while keeping resistance to an absolute minimum.
- Professional Protection: Features a Delphi Metri-Pack 630-series sealed fuse holder (ATC fuse) and a 40-amp rated Metri-Pack 630-series sealed relay assembly.
- Dual-Positive Feed: Re-purposed ground circuit provides a secondary power path through the bulkhead, eliminating the Metri-Pack 150 terminal bottleneck.
- Perimeter Grounding: Ground current is relocated from the bulkhead to the module's perimeter bolts, utilizing the stainless steel hat's structural mass as a high-current ground bus.
- Isolated Signal: Level sensor signals remain on their own dedicated bulkhead terminals, ensuring gauge accuracy and preventing voltage ripple/interference.

Q: Can I use the FPWH-052HD harness with my stock in-tank wiring?
A: No. This system is not compatible with a factory-configured in-tank harness. Because the FPWH-052HD repurposes the factory ground path as a second positive feed, plugging it into a stock in-tank harness will ground the positive feed inside the tank, resulting in an immediate blown fuse.
Q: Why do you recommend only original Delphi modules (yellow bulkhead/stainless hat)?
A: Original Delphi bulkhead connectors were more robust and vacuum-impregnated to ensure they seal well under pressure, making them the highest quality on the market. Furthermore, factory modules feature spot-welded ground tabs on the underside of the stainless steel hat, which are required for the ground connections on our ITWH-055/054 harnesses. Aftermarket modules often use lower-quality "white-connector" bulkheads and frequently lack these essential ground tabs, preventing a proper installation.
