Connects a 7-position Metri-Pack 280 intermediate double pump harness to a Racetronix heavy-duty dual or triple pump harness with the 10-position APEX 2.8 connector.
Racetronix dual pump wiring systems connect an intermediate double pump harness (IDPH), which plugs into the fuel hanger, to a dual pump power harness, which carries the relays and fuses. Earlier intermediate harnesses use a 7-position Metri-Pack 280 interface connector. Current heavy-duty dual pump harnesses use a 10-position APEX 2.8 connector.
The UDPH-HA2 joins the two. Plug the 7-position male end into the intermediate harness and the 10-position female end into the dual pump harness. Nothing is cut, spliced or re-pinned.
You need this adapter only when your intermediate harness has the round 7-position Metri-Pack 280 connector and your dual pump harness has the rectangular 10-position APEX 2.8 connector. If both harnesses already have APEX 2.8 connectors, they plug together directly.

Frequently asked questions
How do I know if I need this adapter?
Look at the two connectors where the intermediate harness meets the dual pump harness. If one is round (7-position Metri-Pack 280) and the other is rectangular (10-position APEX 2.8), you need the UDPH-HA2. If both are rectangular APEX connectors, you do not.
Does the adapter change how my pumps are controlled?
No. It only joins the two connectors. Pump power, grounds and the relay trigger pass straight through, and staging is still set up on the dual pump harness.
Can I cut off the connectors and splice the harnesses instead?
We do not recommend it. Splices add resistance and a failure point on high-current pump circuits, and they remove the weatherproof seal. The adapter keeps the whole system plug and play.
