Adapts 2nd generation Racetronix Q-series fuel pump hangers equipped with a 3-position Metri-Pack 280-series female connector to 1st generation Racetronix fuel pump (hotwire) upgrade harnesses equipped with a Weather-Pack 3-position shroud connector (male terminals).

This adapter may be used when there are budgetary considerations. Ideally our 2nd generation power upgrade harnesses should be used to improve pump performance and connector reliability. Pump performance and power requirements have increased over the years pushing the 20-amp limitations of the popular Weather-Pack connectors. These are known to run very warm with some high-output pumps and reduce pump performance. Potential for connector failure increases exponentially under these conditions.

This harness is not designed to directly power a high-performance fuel pump hanger off of the factory fuel pump wiring. Doing so will void all warranties.
