Turns a -10 AN hose end or fitting 90 degrees into a 1/2" NPT female port.
The Racetronix ADF-499410 joins a -10 AN male (37° JIC) hose end or fitting to a 1/2" NPT female port, with a 90-degree turn. The -10 AN female end has a swivel nut, so you can thread the adapter into the port first and then line the hose up in any direction before you tighten it.

NPT is a tapered pipe thread and seals on the threads, so use a fuel-resistant thread sealant on the NPT end. The JIC end seals metal to metal on its 37° flare: do not put sealant or tape on the flare or its threads.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need thread sealant?
On the NPT end, yes: it is a tapered pipe thread that seals on the threads, so use a fuel-resistant sealant. On the JIC end, no: it seals on the 37° flare, and sealant there can cause a leak.
What does the swivel do?
The -10 AN female nut turns independently of the body. Tighten the NPT end into the port first, then point the JIC end where you need it and tighten the hose end onto it.
Which size do I need?
Match the AN size to your hose end and the NPT size to the port. The lookup chart lists every combination in this series with its dimensions; sort it by either column to find yours.
