The Racetronix FLK-G7B5 is a professional-grade plumbing solution for 1986-1987 Turbo Buicks equipped with our DPFS-G7 Billet hangers. Every hose assembly is manufactured using the highest-grade American-made materials and rigorously tested to 1,000 PSI on our in-house pressure bench to ensure a leak-proof installation. This kit features our premium static-dissipative PTFE hose finished with a genuine DuPont™ Hytrel® coating. Unlike inferior kits that use cheap PVC coatings, Hytrel® is a high-performance elastomer that remains flexible across extreme temperature ranges while preventing the stainless braid from acting as an abrasive "saw" against your chassis components.

To ensure maximum flow, Racetronix fuel line kits utilize an external sealing mechanism that bypasses the highly restrictive internal Saginaw O-ring found in factory fittings. This relies on a stacked seal (Bonded Washer + Aluminum Crush Washer) against the face of the fuel rail or regulator.

1. Why is the Racetronix metric Banjo fitting superior?
Unlike standard 90° adapters that bottleneck the system by following restrictive factory Saginaw dimensions, our custom-machined metric Banjo fitting maintains a high-flow bore. Its low-profile design is critical for the Turbo Buick platform, as it provides the necessary clearance to avoid interference with the intake manifold runners.
2. Will this connect to my current Racetronix hanger?
No. The FLK-G7B5 is exclusively designed for our new DPFS-G7 Billet Aluminum hangers which utilize ORB ports. If you have any of the following, you must use the FLK-G7B3 kit instead:
- Racetronix Single Pump Stainless Steel hangers (255, 340, 450, or 525 LPH models) equipped with EFI Quick-Connect fittings.
- Older Racetronix Stainless Steel Dual Pump systems with EFI Quick-Connect fittings.
3. What regulator is recommended for use with this kit?
This kit is designed for factory-location regulators. We highly recommend the Racetronix REG-G7B1. It is engineered specifically for this platform to provide perfectly stable pressure and long-term reliability.
4. How is Hytrel® superior to the PVC coating found on other hoses?
PVC is a cheap plastic that becomes brittle and cracks when exposed to heat and chemicals. DuPont™ Hytrel® is a premium elastomer that remains flexible and protective across extreme temperature ranges, ensuring your fuel lines look and perform like new for the life of the vehicle.
5. Are these lines field-serviceable?
Yes. Racetronix uses premium reusable swivel fittings rather than permanent non-swivel crimps. This allows for precise alignment during installation and full serviceability in the field using standard tools.
6. Does the PTFE hose eliminate gas fumes in the garage?
Absolutely. Unlike rubber (CPE) hoses, our American-made PTFE hose has near-zero permeability. This feature eliminates "fuel smell" permeation entirely and provides a lifetime of compatibility with Gasoline, E85, and Methanol.
7. Where do I get support and installation information?
This kit is sold exclusively through our authorized dealer network. First-tier technical and warranty support, including all phone and email support, is provided by the authorized Racetronix dealer from which you purchased your kit.
